Private Pilot License Course (PPL)

Flying is a passion that can be taken up by many without the intent of getting paid or hired. Our Private Pilot License (PPL) is tailored to cater to your avid interest in learning to fly whether as a proud aircraft owner or a recreational flyer of a private aircraft. This comprehensive program is DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) authorised and meets all the necessary syllabus standards. Upon successful completion of the course and achieving your PPL license, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skill sets required to pass the DGCA examinations and become a competent pilot.

Ground School

Get thoroughly prepped in the theory classes with the guidance of experienced ground instructors. The Ground Classes will help gain an extensive knowledge of the DGCA-prescribed subjects as well as the functions of a single-engine aircraft, with the primary objective of comprehension of aviation concepts. The Private Pilot course’s curriculum covers the following:

Flying Training

You can share your preference to have your flying training at any of our campuses in Baramati (Maharashtra), Seoni (Madhya Pradesh), Kalaburagi (Karnataka), Belagavi (Karnataka), Lilabari (Assam), and Sri Lanka on our latest fleet of Tecnam P2008 JC. The focus during this part of the Private Pilot training will be on developing skills for instrument flying, standard operating procedures, IFR cross countries, and upset recovery. The single-engine training will be conducted on which a 50-hour flying requirement is needed. Practice will also include training in the latest flight simulator.

FAQs

No, the PPL license is valid for life. However, PPL holders will need to meet certain requirements to keep flying legally. They are: Produce a valid medical certificate after a certain period depending on your age, complete flight reviews every 24 calendar months, and so on.

Yes, you can do a CPL course without a PPL.

The choice of your course will depend on what your purpose is for learning to fly. For earning and to be employed as a pilot, CPL would be the best course of action. Whereas, for recreational purposes, a PPL is the right move.

After successfully passing your theoretical exams, you will be given 24 months (from the day of your last exam) until which you must finish the flight training and pass the skill test. If not, you will need to retake your theoretical exams.
